1. Quotes

Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date issued and cover only the services listed. Any alterations or additions to the original service may result in a new quote.

2. Booking Fee

Bridal Services

• To secure your date, a signed bridal contract and a non-refundable €100 (€50 for Bride only weddings), booking fee is required. This is payable upon booking or no later than 7 days from the date of the original quote. Failure to do so will result in the date being released.
• The booking fee will be deducted from the final cost of the bridal services. Payment for the booking fee is taken by card, via a link that will be sent to you to pay online. All major credit cards are accepted. A receipt will be sent to you upon booking fee being received.
• The booking fee is non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date at By Sara & Co’s discretion, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation and the Artist’s availability.

Event Services

For Event Services, Makeup Lessons and our Tanning service, a non-refundable deposit is required. Appointments are not confirmed until this has been paid and you receive a confirmation email.

3. Payment Terms

The remaining balance will be due on or before the day of the event and will be taken by card using your details we have stored on 17 Hats.

The bride is responsible for all payments regarding the services covered by the contract.

4. Mispriced Services

In the event of a genuine mistake resulting in under-pricing, By Sara & Co are not obligated to provide the service at the incorrect price. You will be notified of the correct price and can choose whether to proceed with the service at the corrected price.

5. Cancellation Policy

Bridal Hair & Makeup

• Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
• If you cancel 30 days or more before your wedding date, you will forfeit your booking fee, but no further payments will be due.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of your wedding date will result in a 50% charge of the remaining balance.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the wedding date will result in 100% of the remaining balance being charged.

In the rare event that a By Sara & Co Artist is unable to perform the services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, family emergencies etc), you will be offered a full refund of your deposit. Every effort will be made to find a replacement Artist within the team to cover your wedding and your booking fee will simply be transferred across to the new Artist. However, if a By Sara & Co Artist is not available, we will of course refund your booking fee and provide you with names of other Artists outside of By Sara & Co. No additional compensation will be provided.

Postponements: If you wish to postpone your wedding and the original By Sara & Co Artist that you have booked is available on that alternative date, your booking fee will simply be transferred to the new date. Provisional new dates cannot be held for longer than a week.

If the Artist you have booked is not available on the new date, we will provide you with team members who are available and will honour the price you were quoted. If you choose not to go with one of the By Sara & Co Artists, we cannot refund your booking fee as this is seen as a cancellation.

If you choose to cancel your wedding or booking, your booking fee will not be refunded.

Event Services

• You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
• A cancellation within 48 hours of the appointment is chargeable in full.
• No-Show Policy: Failure to attend your confirmed appointment without prior notice will result in the full charge of the service booked.

6. Bridal Trials

Trials are exclusive to brides only and are not offered to bridal party/family members. Bridal trials are subject to change if a bridal booking comes in for that date.

7. Travel Fees

Travel fees apply for all bridal parties. Your original quote will include a travel charge of up to an hour round trip from the Artist’s home. Additional travel fees are charged at €50/hr. Please notify us of any location changes as soon as possible as this may alter the original quote. If a second Artist is required, an additional travel fee is applied to your quote.

For all travel over 2 hours to the morning location will require an overnight stay the night before the wedding. Accommodation is to be booked by the client. The Artist reserves the right to select a hotel or lodging that meets their standards for comfort, safety and convenience. The client may provide recommendations or preferences regarding accommodation. For destination weddings, if the Artist isn’t staying at the wedding location a transfer to and from the location will be required.

8. Liability

All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitised between every client application. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the Artist prior to application. Client(s) agrees to release the Artist from By Sara & Co from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

9. Payment

The final balance is due on or before the day of the event before the Artist departs. Payment must be made by card via the 17 Hats app (we will already have your card details on file).

10. Photography

Photos or videos may be taken for promotional use and advertising purposes online and printed material. Full credit will be given to any professional photos and videos taken by photographers and videographers.

11. Client Responsibilities:

It is the Client’s responsibility to provide a safe and adequate working environment for the Artist. The location must include:
Natural lighting
Power outlets
Table / Bench / windowsill for makeup and hair kits
